CAEL
What is CAEL?
CAEL - Canadian Academic English Language Assessment is a test designed to measure the English language proficiency of students planning to study in Canadian post-secondary institutions. It provides an authentic representation of language use in a Canadian academic context. Test takers read articles, listen to a lecture, answer questions, and write a short essay, as they would be expected to do in a first-year Canadian university or college classroom.
Why take CAEL?
The CAEL test measures a test taker's ability to combine listening, reading, speaking and writing skills where it matters most — in the classroom. It gives your institution access to millions of students who have proven they have what it takes to succeed in an English-speaking academic environment. Cambridge Education Group has tailored a CAEL course flow specifically for the overall development of the student.
